“Twin flowers”

On International Women's Day, March 8, 2026, One Station's new exhibition season proudly invites artist I Pai Hsu—with her paintings, sculptural installations, and undying flower crafts—to infuse the space with a beautiful, empowering feminine strength and resolve.

TWIN FLOWERS Exhibition Statement

Twin Flowers refers to a pair of blossoms born from the same root — two flowers blooming side by side from a single stem. This is a secret flower that has emerged from the inner world of the artist, Yi Bai.

Darkness and light have always been eternal themes of the human psyche. Each act of creation marks a moment of inner integration — a journey of rebirth.

This body of work is rooted in Carl Jung’s concept of Individuation. Through painting and sculptural installation, the artist transforms the process of psychological integration into tangible form. The two series — Yellow Blooming and Piranha Flower — stand in deliberate contrast, revealing the duality within the feminine psyche. We confront darkness, cross the abyss, and search for enduring light.

Through this intensely personal act of creation, I Pai invites viewers to listen to their own most hidden calling, and to enter a space that does not belong to the visible world. It is like slowly stepping into a fully blossomed flower — moving inward, petal by petal, until reaching its deepest core.

There, you are invited to draw from the nectar of darkness — and allow it to transform within you into a sweetness of your own.

About I Pai Hsu

I Pai Hsu, born in 1986 and a graduate of the National Taiwan University of Arts, began her artistic journey in 2021. She is currently a member of the Taiwan Women’s Art Association. Her work spans digital illustration, acrylic painting, and papier-mâché installations. Through warm, tangible mediums, she seeks to evoke resonance within the viewer’s subconscious—beyond the surface of everyday perception.

I Pai Hsu hopes her work becomes a bridge spanning dream and reality—a gateway allowing viewers to fling open a door in their hearts at any moment, stepping beyond the present to let their souls roam free, if only for a time.
