藝術家簡歷
王禾璧在美國獲純藝術學士及碩士學位。王氏於1993年及1995年分別獲亞洲文化協會(ACC)及國際教育協會(IIE)獎助，2010年獲民政事務局頒「嘉許狀」表揚藝術文化貢獻，2013年獲香港婦協頒「香港六藝卓越女性」獎，自1996年任康樂及文化事務署博物館專家顧問。個人作品集包括「色與尚」(寶麗萊)及「香港/中國攝影家系列#4 -王禾璧」。她曾參與超過一百個本地及國際個展/聯展。近年亦參與本地/海外策展工作。她的攝影及錄像作品環繞城市建築與民生、衝突與平衡、建構與真實等議題。作品為廣東美術館、香港文化博物館、倫敦現代衝突資料庫、香港刺點畫廊、SOHO House及本地/美國私人收藏家收藏。www.wongwobik.com
藝站
建於1991年, 已閒置了二十多年, 經過維修後, 2018年4月正式成為一個服務社區的複合式藝文空間, 經常舉辦藝文展覽、工作坊、座談會、藝術駐村等相關展演活動。
ARTIST BIO :
WONG Wo Bik obtained BFA and MFA Degrees in
USA. She was awarded ACC (1993) and IIE Fellowships (1995), Certificate of Commendation from Secretary of Home Affairs Hong Kong (2010) and Women Excellence in
the Six Arts from HK Federation of Women (2013). She has been the Expert Advisor (Hong Kong Museums) since 1996. Her
solo publications include: Color & Consent
(Polaroid) and Hong Kong/China
Photographers – Volume Four – Wong Wo Bik. Besides curatorial/ educational
projects, she has
participated in more than 100 local/international solo/group exhibitions. Her photographic/video works reveal cultural and artistic issues
including city architecture and daily livelihood, conflict and balance,
fabrication and reality. Her works are collected by Hong Kong Heritage Museum, Guangdong Museum of Art
(Guangzhou, China), Archive of Modern Conflict (London, Great Britain), SOHO House and private collectors.
About ONE STATION :
ONE STATION was built in 1991 and has been vacated
for more than 20 years. After renovation, the space serves as a multi-disciplinary
community arts and cultural centre since April 2018. This space organizes arts
and cultural exhibitions, workshops, seminars, residency and related projects.
