關於《島國女兒的呼喚》
盼望經由《島國女兒的呼喚》聯展，響應深層生態學家的格言：「活著，讓他人也活著」、「手段儉樸，目的豐富」，這不僅是口號，目標是透過此策展與相關活動，讓台灣的女性創作者，成為一個性別平權發聲的集合體，經由自省並映現人與自然共生、萬物一體理念的具體實踐行動。
About ‘The Calling of
Formosa's Daughters’
The objective of the group exhibition, The Calling of Formosa's Daughters, echoes with the following
principles of the deep ecology movement: “Live and let live”, and “Simple
in means, rich in ends.” It calls for more than slogan-shouting, as the intent
of the curated exhibition and its related activities is to propel the women
artists in Taiwan to become a collective that speaks out for gender equality,
with tangible actions taken through self-reflection and contemplation on the
symbiosis between human and nature, and the unity of all things.
